BAFTA 2011 Red Carpet Report

It's the awards season again. Held yesterday, the BAFTAs, which is UK's equivalent of the Oscars, featured many celebrities, mostly in floor-length dresses (a sensible choice in the midst of winter). Here are some of my favorite looks of the night.

Emma Watson, star of the Harry Potter series in a Valentino Couture gown, looking all grown up. She managed to conjure up a look so ethereal and sophisticated, she gets an A+ in my red carpet report.

True Grit actress, Hailee Steinfeld in a black Miu Miu dress. I'm loving the jewel embellished top.

Tilda Swinton, once again showing her androgynous side in a suit by Haider Ackerman. From her rich satin lapels to perfect trouser length, she looked stunning to boot.

Actress Thandie Newton wowed in a Monique Lhuillier gown. The floral prints definitely gave the gown a unique touch.

Rosamund Pike teamed her mustard Alexander McQueen number with matching gold cuffs by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co.. Looking regal indeed.

Last but not least, Emma Stone did not blend in with the red carpet, at least not in her red Lanvin gown. Instead she stood out, looking bold and sexy.
